Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Officer (Säkerhetsansvarig) to ensure adherence to safety regulations on-site and promote a culture of safety among personnel. The role involves implementing safety protocols, monitoring compliance, and conducting training to maintain a secure working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and enforce safety standards on-site to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate safety risks.
- Train personnel on safety protocols, procedures, and emergency response plans.
- Investigate incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain safety reports, documentation, and records.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to create and implement safety plans.
- Promote a culture of safety by educating and engaging all site personnel.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to train and guide personnel.
- Ability to identify safety risks and implement effective solutions.
